The Friends of the Scituate Town Library (Friends) was established in 1972 to support the Scituate Town Library by promoting its mission as a cultural and educational center for all community members. The financial support of the Friends - derived from your donations and 2nd Chapter Bookstore purchases - supplements the library’s annual budget and enables the library to provide a vast array of programs, events, and activities. These enriching, educational, and fun offerings help to foster a spirit of inclusion for children, teens, and adults.
